You know how sometimes when you first meet someone, you feel like you have known them forever?
That's exactly how I felt with Nerellee & Morgan.
So, when I photographed their wedding day last month, I felt like I was photographing my old friends.
Nerellee got ready at her parent's house, out in Red Cliffs and as I was driving there the morning of the wedding,
I noticed just how gorgeous the weather was.
And luckily for all of us, it just got better throughout the rest of the day.
Nerellee was quite the relaxed bride!
At one point, the flowers hadn't yet arrived & the makeup time had to be rescheduled at the last minute,
but if she was feeling at all anxious, I certainly couldn't tell!
When she had her parents & two bridesmaids in the same room, she gave each one a little gift.
She had worded me up just before she gave it to them, so I could catch their reactions.
It was such a special moment; even I felt a rush of emotion & became rather teary.
Nerellee & Morgan were married by Jan Goodieson at the Mildura Golf Resort, which was the perfect venue for them
as they wanted to stay in the one place from the start of their ceremony til the end of the reception.
The bridal party spent a bit of time hooning around on the golf carts during the bridal party shoot,
which made for a great photo opportunity (and fun). At one point we were all laughing so much, we got a reminder from a golfer to keep the noise down (which of course made us want to laugh even more).
Thank you Nerellee & Morgan for choosing me to photograph your beautiful day!
I hope you love them just as much as I loved shooting them.
I wish you all the happiness in the world, together as husband & wife!
