This little fella, Dane, has met me quite a few times before. When he was only a few days old we did a newborn shoot together. When Dane was a few weeks older we had a family shoot. Now Dane is 6 months, his parents thought they ought to have another one! Actually, I also did a maternity photo-shoot while this little guy was still in his mum's tum!!!
Dane seems to be a very happy boy. He was however 6 months old. Looking at some silly lady holding a camera trying to
get his attention was not on his priority list. He was interested in just about everything else - his soft toy best friend (understandable), finding out what sound my props made when he hit them and even the grass!
So, as you can imagine, I was delightfully suprised when at home I got stuck into my editing and I saw a large proportion of the images had Dane looking straight at me!! :)
I think I have said this before, but I really love it when my clients bring along something personal from home.
It really personalises the shoot and in this instance it literally did.
Dane's parents brought along the name canvases as well as a few toys and of course his best mate the tiger. :)
We really could not have asked for a better day - or a better photoshoot. He really was a superstar! :)

I photographed Chantell & Daniel while they were visiting Mildura during the Xmas break.
We were blessed with a beautiful afternoon which gave us the opportunity to do some outdoor photos as well as indoor.
I just love a pregnant belly. It's very heart-warming to see so much love in a couples eyes
as they await the birth of their little one.
I love when my clients get right into a shoot. Chantell & Daniel were so happy to try anything I suggested and even shared their own ideas too! Baby must have been feeling the excitement of the shoot too, as halfway through the shoot I was fortunate enough to get the chance to feel bubba kicking.
.As I seem to be a tad behind on my blogging, I can report Chantell & Daniel have had a beautiful baby girl.
Thanks so much for a great photo-shoot guys, I cannot wait to meet your precious little girl!
Last year while I was photographing a beautiful wedding, I met two gorgeous siblings;
Annie & Lucy, who were flower girls on the day.
Annie & Lucy live in Melbourne with their parents & during the recent Xmas break; they all came over for a visit.
They decided to book a family photo-shoot with me for when they would be here.
We were blessed with a lovely summer's day that luckily for us wasn't too hot! :)
We spent our time playing tea parties, skipping around the grass & picking flowers for the girl's baskets.
The eldest sister, Annie, was so confident in front of the camera.
She was forever striking a pose & giving me some great shots!
Lucy was a little more reserved. At first she wasn't too keen on the idea of having some photos done,
but in the end she must have realised it wasn't too bad, because we got her smiling & even giggling. :)
I had an awesome time with this family & hope to see them at some stage in the near future!
